Info About Day Use Passes for Lofers Bend & McCown Valley, Lake Whitney
A single DAY USE PASS is $5 per day or $40 per year (as of May 2023) and "grants users access to either of Whitney Lake’s two day use areas: Lofers Bend Day Use and McCown Valley Day Use. Pass holders will be able to utilize whatever facilities fall within those areas on the date specified on their passes. Some of the recreation opportunities available in those day use areas are horseback riding trails, swim beaches, boat ramps, covered picnic areas with grills, and more. This pass does not guarantee parking or picnic shelter availability so be sure to get here early and remember to always wear your life jacket!"
This pass admits a non-commercially owned vehicle for area use, to include boat ramp access.
